On Saturday night, Gina was taken to a local hospital because of a spike in her temperature. She responded to Tylenol and her temperature dropped to an elevated but controllable level. One infection has returned and she is being tested for a second.
She is resting comfortably and appears to be in minimal discomfort.

The turnout at the benefit was unbelievable. Over 1600 people attended and many more contributed. It is apparent that Gina has touched the lives of many. The outpouring of support was something I will not soon forget and it was an important life lesson that we will carry with us.
Thank you again to those who were with us that day in body, mind or spirit. Also continued thanks to those, too numerous to mention, who made the day possible.

We are just a few days away from the benefit. I want to thank and acknowledge everyone who has dedicated their time and energy to this event. Gina was a part of several other benefits so I've seen first hand how much work is involved and the level of commitment that is required.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone that day.
Thanks...Bob

Thank you again to all of those who have given us gifts of food, time and well wishes. We would like to especially thank the hockey and police communities for their outpouring of support.
To the 'elves' who showed up at our house and helped to make Christmas memorable for the kids: Thanks very much to the four of you who arranged and delivered the gifts and thanks also all of those people behind the scenes who were so very generous. (I never thought I would be calling you guys elves).
Also to the people at “The Building” and my new found text friend. Thank you for your generosity in helping us to get over the initial hurdle. You have all been more than generous.
We are very grateful for your kindness.

Thank you for all your prayers, thoughts, gifts and food. The kids and I are working on thank you cards. If I miss someone, please do not be offended. My focus just has not been what it should be.

Gina is a truly unique person who has been a positive force in the lives of many. This has never been more evident to us than in the last several weeks. We have been deeply touched by the outpouring of love and concern from her many friends and colleagues.
The primary purpose of this website is to ask for your continued prayers for Gina's recovery. We would also like to thank everyone who has supported us during this very difficult time. We will keep this site updated with any relevant news regarding her recovery.
We believe in God's power to heal all wounds. Please continue to pray for Gina's recovery.
Thank you.
